Mariano Otero & Natalia Castillo
Mariano Otero
"I found in dance a way to express myself artistically. From a very young age, I learned to love and respect my culture, first with Argentinian folk dances and then by training in other disciplines. I decided to devote myself entirely to this popular and civic dance known throughout the world, under the name of TANGO"
Natalia Castillo
She began her artistic studies at the age of 14 by training in folk dance and encountered tango in the year 2000. After having taken stage tango and ring tango lessons with many known and recognized maestros , she graduated in 2005 from the ACETA academy of Argentine tango styles. She is now a teacher and professional dancer.
Her dancing career led her to be a member of companies and ballets, such as the Mario Morales ballet, (with whom she won the gold medal at the Buenos Aires tournaments), the Mora Godoy company, Carolina Bonaventura, or even Paola Rodolfo and to participate in shows in theaters on the famous Corrientes Avenue in Buenos Aires. Natalia has also performed in the famous tango houses and dinner shows in Buenos Aires but also in Brazil, Uruguay, Spain.
She is currently a member of the Luna Arrabalera organization EL ENCUENTRO – Alicante (Spain) and the organization “Íntimo tanguero”, also located in Alicante.
